Relax & Release

Relax into deep healing.

Class Description

Relax & Release is a gentle and grounding breathwork class designed to calm your nervous system and support emotional recovery. Through four soothing breathing techniques, this session guides you into deep relaxation while subtly building your inner resilience. This class is a soft landing for those carrying stress, anxiety, or emotional fatigue. With slow, conscious breath, you'll be invited to let go of tension and settle into a state of calm, clarity, and stillness. Relax & Release is your invitation to rest, reset, and return to yourself. The Science Behind This Class Relax & Release supports parasympathetic activation by using slow nasal breathing, controlled exhalations, and the physiological sigh. These techniques help regulate the nervous system, reduce cortisol levels, and improve emotional balance. Scientific studies show that consistent practice of such patterns enhances stress resilience and mental clarity. Why This Class? - Ideal if you're feeling overstimulated, anxious, or emotionally drained - Helps regulate your nervous system without intensity or breath holds - Gently builds emotional flexibility and breath awareness - Supports deeper sleep, reduced tension, and a sense of clarity - A safe space for emotional release, especially during transition or burnout Health Considerations Relax & Release is a gentle class and generally suitable for everyone, as it does not include strong breath holds or forced breathing techniques. However, if you are experiencing any of the following, please consult a medical professional before joining: - Severe respiratory conditions - Recent surgery - Active trauma symptoms - You're welcome to inform the facilitator privately of any conditions before class. How to Prepare To get the most out of your session, we recommend: - Lying down on a mat, bed, or couch in a quiet, undisturbed space - Using an eye mask or sleep mask to support inward focus - Having a blanket nearby in case you feel cold - Placing a bolster or pillow under your knees for extra comfort - And most importantly: bring yourself just as you are at the moment — everything is welcome. Let your breath lead the way into rest and renewal.
